Joining the Ship-A-Ton hackathon challenge

Ship-A-Ton1 min read

I recently came across RevenueCat's hackathon challenge, Ship-a-ton, which is gaining much attention. After learning about this challenge, I participated and created an account on Devpost, officially joining the 730+ participants. 🎉

The big question is: What can I create within the "limited" timeframe, as the deadline is September 19th? I'm planning a short visit to Kenya 🇰🇪 in less than a week, and I need to consider the time it takes to submit to the Apple store. I have numerous ideas, but this time, I might take a more traditional "scratch my itch" approach and create something that I need and that motivates me to complete.

I'll take some time to think it over, maybe with my pillow 💤, and tomorrow, I'll make this crucial decision based on the available time and the codebase I already have, which I can reuse to expedite the app creation process.

I intend to share my progress on Twitter and LinkedIn publicly, as there's a category for the "#BuildInPublic Award," recognizing developers who share the most intriguing development journeys on their social platforms.

Good luck, everyone! 🤞🏼
